The ALA and everyone else

I'm not the only one in the ALA, you know. Every once in a while, we get to do something as a whole together, wether it is to build leadership skills, promote teamwork, or learn something new with everyone else.

The Virtual Team Challenge

A welcome change of pace from the rest of the year, this challenge was a game built upon developing leadership and teamwork. We had to get on computers and form groups of four, and follow the game instructions in order to solve a problem going on. It was a very fun experience and I would do it again.

The Saluda Shoals Ropes Course

On the day we did the Saluda Shoals Ropes course, me and the rest of the students and teachers became a little bit more of a family. We did many team-building excersizes and a lot of fun games, and I made new friends that I didn't believe I would make. The course was built to have us grow closer, and grow closer we did.
